This italian style boiled sausage was invented back in the 16th century when mirandola (italy) was besieged and as not to waste any livestock, an enterprising chef conjured up this gastronomic delight!

This product needs to pierced with a knive in several place before being boiled for at least 2 hours, as the cooking process goes on it will release a fatty film in the water. allow to cool and then slice.

Here at Rusty pig we suggest serving over braised lentils with riccota cheese. YUM!
